Phylum Reading: Stephanie Wyeld & Josh Stewart
Stephanie Wyeld has an undergraduate degree in science, a masters degree in engineering, and fifteen years of being a stay-at-home mom under her belt. She's worked in just about every industry, but the most recent is her favourite: moonlighting in a doctor's office weighing babies and giving vaccines. She is the author of The Book of Maggie (DarkWinter Press, March 2026) and continues to write fiction, and is currently working on another novel (or three).
Josh Stewart is an ESL instructor, martial artist, and writer based in St. Catharines, Ontario. His debut poetry collection, Kawartha Gothic, is forthcoming with Phylum Press in 2027. He has previously authored two poetry chapbooks, Temptation as a Technical Difficulty (Anstruther Press, 2015) and Invention of the Curveball (Cactus Press, 2008). His poetry and reviews have appeared in numerous literary journals, including Phylum Press, CV2, Arc Poetry, The Nashwaak Review, Canadian Literature, The New Quarterly, Grain, Prairie Fire, Vallum, The Antigonish Review, and Carousel.
