We’re going to kick this thing off!

While we gather the resources to build our creative hub on the properties NAC purchased and cleared up beside our centre, we’re going to make use of the space as a creative commons.

Our first event will be Saturday 13 June with a vendor’s market, (lots of stuff—we know you’re going to want some of it), the opening of our community garden, the unveiling of some outdoor sculptures and murals by NAC members, an outdoor cook-off, and the crowd-pleasing melodies of The Ferns from the stage of the Papa Tee Showmobile!

NAC opens our Creative Commons — The NACyard — a new outdoor community hub.

What’s happening:

• Vendor Market: vintage treasures, quirky collectibles, housewares, books, records—artists have the best junk!
• Live Music: The Ferns headline with a music show
• Community Garden:  Welcome to the NACyard community/sculpture garden (wear sensible shoes and bring an open mind). 
• Plus! East end businesses will be partying with us, check out the new shops and favourites for special offers and sales

Why come?

• Support local makers and small businesses
• Eat something delicious 
• Witness NAC’s unbridled enthusiasm for trying to make Niagara a weirder, more interesting place
   

Bring: your curiosity, cash/phone for payments — the NACyard’ll be the place with the music, the plants, the sculptures, the murals, and the people having a fine time!

Your donations help support artist-run culture in Niagara while keeping good stuff out of the landfill and in the hands of curious bargain hunters.

Drop-offs can be made during the following hours: 
THURS 11 JUNE from 12PM-5PM
FRI 12 JUNE from 12PM-7PM

Drop off at 354 St. Paul Street St. Catharines, we have hands to help you unload! If you have larger items, contact us by phone or email and we can make arrangements to pick things up. Donations with estimated values over $250 will be considered for a charitable tax receipt.

Please no broken electronics or mattresses.
