Car Wash | Film Screening in Celebration of Art House Theatre Day

 

In celebration of Art House Theatre Day, NAC is screening, Car Wash (1976) a hit comedy directed by Michael Schultz, on the TCO Rooftop Terrace. 

The film follows a single, chaotic day at a Los Angeles car wash. The team meets dozens of eccentric customers -- including a smooth-talking preacher, a wacky cab driver and an ex-convict -- while cracking politically incorrect jokes to a constant soundtrack of disco and funk. Some of the workers find romance as the day moves along, but most are just happy to get through another shift. 

Employees, customers, and strangers interact to a non-stop disco and funk Grammy award winning soundtrack!
