Karrie Porter, President, St. Catharines Karrie is a fabric artist and a member of Port Studios Collective, a network of artists and musicians from the Golden Horseshoe. She takes an active interest in fundraising and financial planning at NAC. (Standing member of all committees)
John Venditti, Vice President, St. Catharines John has his BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Ottawa and completed his Bachelor of Education at Brock University. He is an active member of the local music scene. As a painter, he is concerned with the individual, the state, and our generally insane culture. John is the Dennis Tourbin Members’ Gallery Coordinator. (Chair, Exhibition Selections Committee)
Deanna Lynn Jones, Secretary, St. Catharines Deanna Jones is a multi-disciplinary artist, with a particular focus in theatre and performance. She is a co-founder of Suitcase in Point, a local collective of theatre, music and visual artists. She has been actively involved with the NAC for the last six years. (Community Relations Committee)
Lisa Matheson, Treasurer, St.Catharines Self-employed for 20+ years in marketing and communications as a thought starter, project developer, and event/training design consultant working with clients in Canada and US. Also sits on the Board of Directors and Communications Director of St. Catharines Minor Hockey Association. (Community Relations Committee, Resource Management Committee)
Roslyn Costanzo, Past President, Toronto Roz is a sculptor, writer, jewelry-maker and graduate of Brock University and the Masters of Art History programme at York University, completed with a combined diploma in Curatorial Studies. (Exhibition Selections Committee, Resource Management Committee)
Jodi Bradshaw, St. Catharines Jodi studied English Literature and spent several years abroad teaching English after finishing her degree. She returned to the Niagara region to pursue her masters in Counselling and Art Therapy. She has been inspired by the vision of NAC and its members and has enjoyed being an active volunteer over the past year. (Community Relations Committee)
Athena Madan, Toronto Athena moved to St. Catharines in 2006. She is an arts therapist, with a bunch of degrees. The first one was in visual and performing arts (stage design and media art); the second was in art and counselling psychology; now she's all about using art for transformative practise / community transformation. She appreciates NAC's presence in, commitment to, and vision for the Niagara region. Athena is also the Ontario representative for the Art Therapy chapter of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association. (Exhibition Selections Committee, Aboriginal & Diversity Working Group)
Berndt Meyer, Niagara-on-the-Lake Berndt is an active fundraiser for NAC and assists in gallery installations and renovations. He is interested in connecting the NAC to new private and public revenue sources. (Community Relations Committee)
Sandy Middleton, St. Catharines Sandy has worked as a photographer in many forms for over 20 years. A graduate from Ryerson Polytechnic University with a BAA in still photography in 1991, Sandy has pursued a career as both a commercial and art photographer. She is looking to become more involved with the arts community at a grass roots level and looks forward to sharing her skills with NAC. (Chair, Community Relations Committee)
Jeff Ott, St. Catharines Jeff is a graduate of OCAD. He is an cabinetmaker, silversmith and artist. Jeff lends his energy to gallery installations, renovations, and various other projects and fundraising events. (Chair, Resource Management Committee)
Adrian Thiessen, St. Catharines Adrian has been a member of the St. Catharines community since 2005. He moved to the Niagara Region from Quispamsis, New Brunswick to Attend the Film Studies Program at Brock University. As current president of local new media company Fourgrounds Media Inc. he has been an artist, advocate, entrepreneur, and pioneer in the video and interactive media sector. Adam Wale, St. Catharines Adam is a restaurant owner and head chef at The Office in downtown St. Catharines. He is a longtime benefactor and supporter of NAC special events. His interests as a board member are focused on defining the downtown as a cultural destination. (Resource Management Committee)
